Calculators Are Way Better Than AI!

Help me give my students critical thinking and problem solving skills by solving both physics and chemistry equations in class. These calculators will allow us to be on the same page when solving difficult problems.

My Project

Like it or not and for better or worse AI has found its way into the classroom, these calculators will help me focus students attention and efforts into their own skills rather than the skills of AI. Students have started to rely on their phones/cameras and AI more than they rely on themselves and quite frankly it bothers me that my students are simply taking pictures of problems and telling themselves they solved the problem. I want my students to build confidence in their abilities and I am a strong believer that confidence comes from working through problems they thought they couldn't do and then at the end of hour they have done it.
