Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My middle school math students enjoy a vibrant, orderly, and well-stocked classroom. Their energy, developing personalities, and expanded awareness of the world makes teaching this age group very rewarding. Our students are busy preparing for High School and we have 180 school days to get them there.

I am asking for help providing new calculators for our upcoming school year!

We are currently teaching 60 8th grade students. Next year we will be at over 80! We are adding another section of 8th grade math. With more students comes the need for more calculators! Our classroom curriculum for Junior High focuses heavily on graphing! We are are in need of storage places for our supplies. We cannot wait to create organized classroom which will help all of our students to reach proficiency in all of the standards. Thank you for supporting our community!
