Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students use calculators for their tests and when they do their classwork. At the seventh grade level students already know how to multiply and divide, so it's acceptable and helpful to use calculators to make the calculations quicker and for students to access the higher level content we are working on.
In addition, every Friday I let students trade in their tickets for items I have in my shop.
I give tickets to students when they answer questions in class. Therefore the fruit roll-ups are items I can use to replenish my shop inventory.
