Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in 8th grade struggle with higher level concepts because the fundamental math gets them tripped up. Calculators alleviate this burden. Students in 7th grade are inundated with fractions and calculators will help them turn the fractions into decimals. Students in 6th grade are exploring integer operations and calculators are a great tool to check their work.

Calculators simply assist students in making the math accessible and allows learning to happen rather than get stuck on simple arithmetic.

The students will be able to broaden their mathematical abilities with this class set of tools.
