Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

After taking the PSSA this year I realized that many of my students were struggling with the calculators they were given because they weren't the same ones they were use to. Having enough calculators for all my classes allows them the time to get use to the keys so that testing will go more smoothly.

My students usually struggle with mathematical problems but when given a calculator they will attempt to solve the problem.

I'm hoping to get this project funded so that we are able to start the 2024-2025 school year off better equipped. Building their confidence in Math is also part of my goal in receiving these calculators. Please help me to give my students the tools they will need to continue to make progress doing Middle School Math.
