This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Solving questions and problems with one digit to two digit problems is great practice but as students make progress they need to take the challenge of real world problems and a class set of tools will go a long way in helping my students reach their goals. These calculators will allow the students to see the bigger picture of problems that require more critical thinking and observations as they come to understand that beyond finding the answer to a calculation there is the meaning of the numbers in a real world context.
