Help me give my students scientific calculators and drawing tablets. Most of my students' families having low incomes buying school supplies adds another stress to their families.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I love my students desire to persevere through life's adversities. Most of my students live in low socio-economic environments (approximately 90% are on free or reduced lunch) with multiple siblings and single-parent household. Some older siblings are responsible for looking after their younger siblings while their parent(s) are at work. They also over come many difficulties of socio-emotional hardships. Several students do not have access to technology or internet outside of the school environment. I love how they stay positive despite their hardships.
My Project
This project is to support my students learning math in the classroom and from home in the digital learning environment. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, students are forced to learn via various digital platforms. It is very challenging for students to write using mathematical computation a mouse or by dragging their fingers on touch pad without the usage of a mouse. These technological challenges lead to loss of motivation and focus.
These drawing tablets will allow my students to use a stylus to write their mathematical computation more clearly and accurately.
In addition, it will allow them to write in a more traditional method such as with pencil and paper. It will also enable to see their work on my computer screen.
The scientific calculators will help my Algebra I students finish complex calculations without getting discouraged and giving up. I teach 9th grade level math to 8th graders. Often, students struggle to get through the math problems because of previous grade level standards they have not mastered. The scientific calculators will help students move forward in math and be more successful as they more forward in future math courses.
