My Project
Students will use tablets ("Boogie Boards") to solve, graph, and explain problems. Students' fears of making mistakes will lessen or be eliminated when provided with a safe, temporary, and reusable tablet surface in which to write.
In addition to students using their own notebooks to take notes and do classwork, they will practice on the Boogie Boards.
Students can provide quick feedback to me or their peers. Students often are afraid to do or show work on paper for fear of making permanent mistakes. The Boogie Board provides a safe surface to attempt problems, knowing the tablet will temporarily store their work. I envision more students attempting more problems, asking more questions, and sharing more ideas with the use of Boogie Boards.
