My students need 3 graphing calculators to learn how to analyze data in both math and science classes.

After Hurricane Katrina, schools in Louisiana are still trying to rebuild their education system. I teach Honors Physics, AP Physics, Advanced Math, and Algebra III to Juniors and Seniors who are working hard to be successful it in their high-need community.

Despite their advanced level in math and science, my students have to share graphing calculators, often four students to one piece of equipment.

We really need a class set of graphing calculators so that each student can become familiar with this technology in high school. Many projects that we do require students to make complex calculations, and without individual equipment, not all students will learn how to use the calculators.

With your help, my students will be given the opportunity to learn essential calculators skills. You will make it possible for my students to compete with their peers around the nation and prepare them for college and beyond.
