Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students live the five core values of our school 1)academic excellence 2) developing potential 3)respect 4)building community 5) giving back.
These calculators would help them in so many ways including improving their efficiency and accuracy in solving mathematical problems, allowing them to focus on understanding concepts rather than calculations.
The calculators would also enable them to explore more complex mathematical ideas, leading to deeper learning and a better understanding of the subject.
Additionally, having access to calculators would help level the playing field for students who may not have the resources to purchase their own. Overall, these materials would enhance our students' academic excellence and potential while promoting a culture of respect, community building, and giving back. With the support of donors, we can empower our students to become confident and successful learners.
