My Students
As teachers, every year we are greeted with new faces and new challenges faced by students. Yet, each year always seems to be more rewarding than the next. It is wonderful to see this group of young men and women entering the classroom, eager to engage in a lesson and tackle the day's task, and, yet, they are still often unprepared to take on the daily lessons.
These great individuals are poised to make a splash as they enter the world, but they need extra tools to make their progress successful!
My Project
Students using calculators may spend less time on tedious calculations and more time on understanding and problem-solving. Having calculators will allow students to study mathematical concepts that they normally could not attempt if they performed every calculation on their own.
Calculators help students succeed!
Having calculators will provide my students with real life experience and help them to be successful in their every day lives.
Please help me to reduce frustration in my classroom while increasing key math skills! Having calculators inside the classroom will help my students who struggle with day-to-day simple math feel successful with small hurdles.
