Requesting these items for the high school cafe my aim is to create an environment conducive to learning. The table and chairs will ensure students are comfortable, allowing them to focus better during study sessions or collaborative projects. The items will be placed in close proximity to the library which will allow them to check out books and technology access. Access to a diverse range of educational resources such as books, magazines, and online databases broadens students' perspectives and enhances their understanding of various subjects. These items contribute to a stimulating learning environment. Students will also be offered coffee and tea. Coffee and tea are both natural stimulants that can help to improve concentration and focus. Students will be able to focus on their studies while having access to the resources they need for success.
I would like to create a safe space for our high school students that will help foster an environment that is conducive to learning.
I would like students to have a space where they are able to complete assignments, study, and socialize with peers. In today's world, socialization is just as important as academics. Students will also have space if mental health breaks are needed. My goal is to address the needs of all kids, academically and socially.
PHS is located on the East Bank and is located in a rural area. We serve children beginning in daycare all the way up to twelfth grade. There are approximately 220 in the entire school. The community resides in an area with a significantly low socioeconomic status. Students have limited resources and limited access to transportation. There are children raised by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and sometimes other siblings. Our school is small, but mighty at heart. We are the Mighty Spartans!
