My Project

Math can sometimes be challenging for students. I would love to create a space where they can enjoy learning and practicing math skills. I have warm patio lights hanging on the ceiling to create a beautiful cafe-inspired mood. I need to decorate the walls with data on letter and number cutouts, a sequin backdrop, and magnetic equations. To keep the area lively, I will place a scented smell that sends relaxing fragrances in the air when they walk in. The Cafe Golden will promote a love of all things math.

Working in a Title I school means that I get to educate a diverse group of ferocious learners that deserve a great learning space.

My students deserve this soothing space with framed directions and tasks on a sequin table cloth to thrive in learning. They need notebooks for math journals, a railroad board to create thinking charts, and chalk to show their bright ideas. I want to create a learning space where they can put in hard work, not give up, and be determined to grow regardless of their initial starting point.
