Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are an engineering classroom that has aspirations to develop skills using the CAD software Solidworks. I plan to teach the students the skills necessary to iterate their designs and make prototypes with our 3D printer. I will use the laptop to connect to the promethean board and teach the class leading by example. Then when the students begin to master the skills they will have a computer to display their drawings to the class. Using touchpads to CAD is very difficult so I am requesting a mouse for each student to use in the classroom. This project will help me advance the skills of students in a less affluent community.
