I have both an AM and PM Kindergarten class! My Kindergarten students amaze me day in and out! We spend our days reading, writing, using our imaginations, playing, and using technology in ways that you could never think five and six year-olds could! My students are awesome! They teach me something brand new each and everyday! They are bursting with imagination and creativity! We are like a family working, learning, and growing together! We laugh, create, explore, and learn so much from each other! From the start of the year until the end of their year in Kindergarten my students have grown and learned an unbelievable amount!
My Project
"Everyone should learn how to code. It teaches you how to think."-Steve Jobs. My students use our Osmos on a daily basis! I would love to enhance their learning by adding the Osmo Coding games to our classroom for our centers! Osmo Coding comes with coding tiles, used to program a playful character named Awbie. As the students explore Awbie's magical world, they would be given a fun and engaging platform that would teach the basics of coding. Our project also includes flexible seat chairs to give students a comfortable choice of seating at the Osmo learning center table!
By learning to code in their comfy flexible seat chairs, my students would also learn how to think critically, creatively, and logically.
