My Project

In our College and Career Readiness class, my students are learning the essential skills they’ll need to succeed in their futures—whether that’s pursuing higher education, entering the workforce, or exploring entrepreneurship. A MacBook would serve as a powerful tool in helping them refine their skills, such as resume building, creating professional portfolios, conducting in-depth research, and mastering software commonly used in college and careers. With access to a MacBook, students would be able to seamlessly create documents, presentations, and videos that demonstrate their abilities and interests, all while gaining hands-on experience with the digital tools they’ll encounter in their future careers.

The donated MacBook will enable my students to engage with a wide range of resources and software, from researching career paths and job opportunities to designing resumes, cover letters, and personal websites.

They’ll also be able to collaborate on group projects, practice communication skills, and gain proficiency in technology that is vital for success in both academic and professional settings. With this tool, my students will be better equipped to take on the challenges of college and their future careers, giving them an edge in an increasingly digital world.
