This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Shut up! Look at you! Who cares! These are all comments we hear in classrooms regularly. I'm looking to find materials to teach students how to cut out bullying and promote a supportive learning environment.

My classroom is widely diverse, with most students coming from struggling families.

With obstacles at home, learning becomes just another obstacle. Some students have reading levels which are below where they should be. They're energetic students who need to build their confidence in reading to be successful in life.

My Project

The Bullying in Schools book will guide our classroom in learning activities to stop bullying. The Internet tablets I am requesting will help my students’ research about bullying and the effects on students. All of these materials will be used to help students grow to be confident students who support one another in their learning.

Learning research online, and minimizing bullying in schools are two incredibly important issues in schools today.
