Buzzing Into Technology

My students need Bee Bots in order to learn how to problem solve and to begin to learn coding skills. These are skills that will help them throughout their school career and in their future job!

My Students

My students are special education students in a school in a low income area. They are mainly 1st grade, but I also have kindergarten and 2nd grade students. They are students who are developing a love for learning!

My students do not have many opportunities outside of the classroom, so I try to enrich their learning in as many ways as possible inside the classroom.

Our school is trying to find ways to integrate technology to enhance student achievement. Our students do not always have access to technology outside of school.

My Project

My students will use these Bee Bots on a daily basis. They will be able to work on problem solving skills as they program their Bee Bot to reach the correct spot on the answer grid. The students will also be working on their technology skills while they are programming the Bee Bot. The students will also work on their social skills because they will be working in small groups with their Bee Bots.

These Bee Bots will be used in both Reading and Math classes!

I can't wait to be able to use this amazing tool in my classroom!
