Buzz into Learning with Bee Bot Robots

My Project

My kindergarten and first-grade students are curious, creative, and eager to learn through hands-on experiences. As part of a Title I-funded, engineering elementary school, they thrive when given the opportunity to explore concepts in an engaging and interactive way. Many of my students are multilingual learners or have diverse learning abilities, and hands-on learning allows them to showcase their understanding in ways that traditional methods may not. That’s why I am requesting Bee-Bot coding robots for our makerspace. These robots will bring learning to life by allowing students to actively engage with literacy, math, and problem-solving skills in a fun and meaningful way. Whether they are retelling a story, identifying vocabulary words, solving math problems, or spelling, Bee-Bots will make their learning more dynamic and exciting. My goal for this project is to foster critical thinking, collaboration, and a love of learning by integrating coding into multiple subjects. With these resources, my students will build confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills, setting a strong foundation for their future in STEM and beyond.
