Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love making art for other people. I often see students making art for friends, family and even I am gifted awesome artwork. This project captures that giving spirit my students show and would allow them to design, draw, and create buttons with a positive message that they can give to not only friends and family but to community members as well.

A button maker would allow students to create wearable personal art with positive messages and images.

These buttons they make can be worn by them or given to members of our community. A button is something that people often wear to show support or send messages. Students would be able to become graphic designers and create buttons that send positive messages about themselves, our school and our community.

Help me give my students the opportunity to spread kindness and joy through a well designed and handcrafted button!
