Button Up Creativity: Fundraising Through Student-Designed Pins
Help me give my students a button maker machine to create custom designs, support art fundraisers, and proudly showcase their creativity as part of our new National Junior Art Honor Society chapter.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my students' creativity, passion, and eagerness to share their artistic talents with others. As members of our new National Junior Art Honor Society, they are motivated to use their art to connect with the community and raise funds for future projects.
The button maker machine will give my students a hands-on opportunity to design and create custom buttons.
These buttons will serve as art pieces, fundraising tools, and conversation starters, allowing them to share their artistic voices while developing entrepreneurial skills. Through this project, students will learn about design, marketing, and teamwork.
My goal is to provide students with a practical, creative outlet that fosters pride in their work while supporting our art program. These students are special because they see art not just as self-expression but as a way to bring people together and positively impact our school and community.
