My Project

Our fifth-grade, online learners deserve unique and tangible rewards to celebrate their achievements. To support our Positive Behavior Incentive Program, I am requesting a button maker machine and supplies. By designing and creating their own custom buttons, students will be motivated to reach behavior milestones while tapping into their creativity. This hands-on, STEM project will also introduce them to the basics of design, engineering, and the joy of seeing their work materialize into a product they can proudly display.

The custom buttons will serve as meaningful rewards that are easy to distribute during in-person events.

These events provide valuable opportunities for our online learners to connect with their peers and teachers, fostering a sense of belonging. Having personalized buttons as incentives will enhance students’ excitement for these gatherings, encouraging positive behavior and engagement throughout the school year.

Additionally, the button-making activity aligns with our school’s goal of integrating STEM projects into the curriculum. Designing and assembling buttons will teach students real-world applications of science and technology, reinforcing critical skills like problem-solving and creativity. With this resource, we can make learning fun and purposeful while reinforcing positive behavior in a way that excites our unique community of online learners.
