My Project
Spring brings new growth and new learning! We investigating butterflies in order to understand why they are important to our ecosystem. The butterfly nurseries and books will be used to further investigate butterfly structures and life cycle. With these kits students will have an opportunity to engage with concrete examples of content they are learning about and observe how a real life butterfly garden functions. We willl make connections to the climate and how the climate can affect butterflies. Throughout this unit students will inquire, research, imagine, plan, create, test and improve their butterfly garden so that the butterflies can thrive. At the end students will gain a new understanding of how living things inhibit the earth.
