My children are feelers, explorers, and thinkers. They always are curious about the ways things work, function, and change.
We're going to study insects later this school year!
To make the concepts of our study real, observable, and meaningful, I would like to get some butterfly gardens and caterpillars. The children could see their metamorphosis in action and witness it in real time. They also could interact and care for the caterpillars as they grow and change.
This project would include the butterfly gardens, caterpillars, and some gloves for general classroom use.
