My Project
Last year, my students loved hatching butterflies. This year, I would love to do it again as it was such a fun experience for my kindergarten and first grade students but this time, I also want to grow ladybugs. This will be something different for the first graders in my class since I am a combined K/1 class and my kindergarten students last year already hatched butterflies.
Hatching butterflies and ladybugs will be a fun and exciting spring activity and it will help my students understand the basic concept of how living things change and grow over time.
My students love learning new things and having a hands-on project will get them so excited for science and exploring the word around them.
