My students need basic supplies to learn and appreciate the changes seen in the changes of the life cycle of a butterfly.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school serves students in grades K-8 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment. We are located in a rural area of Phoenix, Arizona where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Our school goal is to prepare our students for success in high school and college. Classroom sizes range in the high 20's and low 30's. While computers are supplied here on campus, many students do not have internet access at home to take the knowledge home. My goal is to use technology and hands on activities to create memorable learning experiences.
My Project
The materials I am asking for already have a home! My students have already showed an interest in the beautiful butterflies that we sometimes see around our campus. However living in the desert of Phoenix, Arizona, these are far and few between. I would love the opportunity to share the life cycle of these beautiful insects while seeing the curiosity and smiles on my students' faces. Please help my students be in awe of this miracle of life. I feel this learning experience that many would never have the opportunity to experience outside the classroom would make for a memorable memory. Thank you in advance.
