Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Living in New York City, it is difficult to expose our students to the natural wonders of the world, and so with this project, all three of our pre k classes will benefit from butterfly kits that will allow our students to watch caterpillars go through their metamorphoses into butterflies.
As spring is settling in and the end of their Pre-K school year is near, we'd like them to have the opportunity to observe, explore and wonder about the curiosities of the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly.
We anticipate that many questions, conversations, and authentic observations will be made possible with this opportunity and we thank you for helping to make that happen.
