My Project
“If nothing ever changed, there would be no such things as butterflies.” This is what intel my fifth grade students who are worried about moving on to middle school. These butterfly kits will give my students an opportunity to see the stages of change the butterfly has to go through and how it relates to their own lives today. Once our butterflies are matured we will release them in our school garden! We hope inspire students to lean into change and growth even further with the text A Butterfly is Patient. By junes graduation children will have a summers worth of memories to write about in September 🥰
Nearly all students from low‑income households
