Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hunger is a reality for most of my students. The school provides breakfast and lunch. If students are late, they miss breakfast. Oftentimes the food served is not enough to get them through the day. When the children are hungry, they cannot focus on learning.
This project includes breakfast foods and snacks that the children can eat whenever they need it.
The children can grab a quick snack and get back to the business of hunger-free, focused learning. This project includes, hot chocolate, cereal, breakfast bars, cookies, chips and mac and cheese. It also includes dish rack for the reusable bowls that the children can use in school. Thank you for supporting children and teachers!
