This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are an active bunch who would enjoy flexible seating choices to allow them to move around throughout the day. Traditional teaching has them sitting at desks most of the day on their Chromebooks and now we know that sitting all day is bad for your health.

I want them to see that school has changed from when their parents went to school.

They would appreciate the choice to stand or sit based on how they are feeling during that time period.

My Project

Think about sitting all day long. It's not interesting or good for us. These wobble chairs give my students the ability to move and learn at the same time. I already have different types of flexible seating in my class and these stools would give my students more choices on where they learn the best. I do not want my classroom to look the same as it did when I went to school.

Help me make learning focused and fun just by giving seating options!

Students learn in different ways and they need options and choices in seating. Think about how you like to learn and where and how you choose to sit.
