Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students at my school are incredible. Our students are eager to learn every day because they know that when they build their basic reading and writing skills, they get to engage in STEM learning!

Our students take risks, are creative, and use their critical thinking skills to build on their education.

Like any normal children their age, our students are active and love to engage in learning opportunities that allow them to move.

At our STEM school, we are able to afford them that chance! Our students love to build, innovate, and solve real-world problems. I am impressed with our students on a daily basis and would do anything to support them and their learning needs!

My Project

This project will help any students at my school site who are struggling to keep their bodies quiet and still the ability to cope with being back in a traditional school setting after a year of online learning.

We have many students this year who are having difficulties with attention and controlling their busy bodies.

Many of the materials in this project help students to channel their energy elsewhere, without distracting their classmates. Teachers often do not provide these materials because they are costly, and as an out-of-classroom teacher this year, I would love the opportunity to support any student or teacher that is in need. Teachers will have access to these wiggle seats, bouncy bands, and fidgets to check out in my office!
