My Students
Future Business Leaders of America. My students are business students who have qualified to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. Our school is located in a small, rural town outside of the biggest city in Oregon. These students competed at the Regional Skill Conference in February and just finished competing at the State Business Leadership Conference in April in Portland, Oregon.
My students need help paying their way to Baltimore, Maryland!
The cost of this trip is immense, and being from a small, rural town is tough for many of these students to afford even the basic travel opportunities. These students excel in business and are the future of the business world.
Through FBLA, my students develop leadership skills, prepare themselves for business related occupations, network with other high school students across the country and learn how to apply business skills in a competitive environment.
My Project
My students will be attending the Future Business Leaders of America National Leadership Conference in Baltimore, Maryland this summer. The overall motto of this conference is to "Elevate Your Future!" Students will network with other future business leaders from all across the country and globe. There will be over 12,000 high school students in attendance!
The students will learn all about business in cutting-edge workshops and fierce competitions in over 70 events.
The conference is full of keynote speakers, technology training's and opportunities to speak with over 50 colleges and universities.
This event is a once in a lifetime experience that students will remember forever. They meet new people, learn new business skills, dress to impress in business attire and learn what it truly takes to help Elevate Your Future!
