My Students

I know I have been inspired to pursue education because of the great teachers that have come before me. They took the time to share their knowledge and sparked my love for the classroom. I hope to connect my students with similar inspirational professionals and light their spark as well.

Most of my students come from lower socioeconomic demographics, and many do not speak English at home.

Most of the students qualify for the Title I free lunch program, have limited resources at home, and stay at school until the early evening, because of their hard-working parents who are trying to make it.

Our school does its best to inspire the kids. Our school brings the curriculum to life, but the challenges of limited budgets and language barriers make that mission difficult.

My Project

My students are using their Art and Technology skills and have created a 3D Printing business. They are taking orders and creating 3D printed jewelry, name plates, and even learning tools like 3D printed rulers. Their designs are amazing and must be publicized in order to lead to business success.

A Cricut machine with tools and vinyl will allow for a full marketing campaign to take place so the school can be drawn towards our products.

Students will create signs and advertisements for their 3D business just like true business professionals. This marketing campaign will take our Financial Literacy lessons to a deeper level of understanding and complete our business model. Please support our efforts to understand the business world.
