My Students

My students attend school in Louisiana. It is a low income school where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Help us get the ball rolling!

I have 154 diverse females in my classes and I feel that my students deserve the very best! They come to class and work hard every day without realizing that the equipment they are using needs to be replaced. They just love PE. Help me to give them the ultimate gym experience.

My Project

New volleyball standards and balls will build pride and get students excited about participating in PE and they will bring this excitement and sense of pride to other areas of the school. There will be enough equipment so that everybody can participate. No waiting!

New volleyball equipment will ignite lifelong habits.

Team sports will provide students with skills they can use to stay active throughout life, reduce stress, increase learning and improve collaboration. Students will learn to build trust, work together and communicate. Students will take pride in seeing that you can have nice things even in a low income school.
