This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a diverse group of high schoolers from many different backgrounds in physical education. Some of my students are top athletes in our school, while some are simply trying to get through a dreaded PE class. These diverse backgrounds contribute to a challenging, yet rewarding classroom environment. One of the things that brings all of the different diverse backgrounds together is SPORT! Especially volleyball! With new nets and more volleyballs, we can continue the work we have been doing with connecting students to school through our volleyball PE classes.
These items will be directly used to accomplish NVACS 1.12.1 Demonstrate proficiency in multiple movement forms in physical activities.
NVACS 1.12.3 Execute complex motor skills and various movement patterns within physical activities. 3.12.1 Engage in a variety of moderate to vigorous physical activities.
