Bullying Is Not Okay!

Help me give my students books to help them speak out and stand up against bullying.

My Students

The students I serve are from the south side of Chicago which is considered a poverty-stricken area. 93% of these students are from low income families. October is bullying prevention month. Many of my students have been bullied, bystanders, and just need to know how to deal with it. Cyberbullying has been a big issue as well.

My Project

These books, bookmarks, and t-shirts will help my students to define, stand up, and speak out against bullying. In addition, they will learn how to deal with it as well. These books will also help them understand other children stories and connect their each as a bullied victim. As a counselor, I provide lessons to on bullying to grades PreK-8. It breaks my heart to hear that the kindergarten students have been bullied and how well they know the subject. It is always my goal to provide a positive school climate as I address the needs of my students. The cleaning supplies will continue to provide a clean space because students are in and out of my classroom everyday.
