Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students consistently try to outperform their environment. This is another way that we can help motivate them to do so.

Our students are the hardest working in our city.

They attend school longer and work hard than any of their peers because they want to attend and succeed for four years in college. They have chosen to attend our school because they know that it will give them the best opportunity to meet their goals.

My Project

Our students NEED to see "Bully". The adults on campus consistently stress the negative effects of bullying, but that impact only reaches so far. It is important for our students to empathize with the kids in the movie in a way that will open up a real dialogue and create positive change.

This movie was made for our students.

They are in middle school and continuing to figure out the importance of treating each other with respect. This movie would greatly help us begin and continue this conversation.
