Bulletin Boards for Building School Pride

Help me give my students a way to communicate. Our school currently lacks any bulletin boards. By having bulletin boards in the hallway, our students can communicate their learning progress, show off work, and decorate the school.

My Students

My students live in a small town with high poverty. We work hard, play hard, and strive for high goals. My students love our fun school atmosphere. While only half may go on to college, they all have bright futures ahead of them.

My Project

Bulletin Boards can be the communication hub of an entire school. If funded, our school would use bulletin boards in numerous ways. We would post student work, students would be able to share the different ways they are learning (projects, reports, pictures, etc.).

We would be able to communicate about the culture of our school through decorations, announcements, student and staff shout-outs, and building positive relationships with students and parents walking through the hallways.

By having the ability to use the wall space in the hallways, our school would be able to provide a variety of experiences for the students in our school.
