My Students

Fourteen students total. The primary goal of this project is to put below grade level students on a path towards proficiency in both Reading and Math. This project will supplement classroom instruction with group tutoring, one on one instruction and resource pull out for each student. This project will be an ongoing project and will carry over for two to three academic years. There are four fifth grade students and three sixth grade students in this project. Engaging students in their learning is an essential component to nurturing a growth mindset and supporting student success. A graph on diagnostic results reflects only one student or 14% of the seven 5th and 6th grade students with IEP’s are on or above grade level in Reading. No student with an IEP is on grade level in math. 57% are two or more grade level or below. 29% or 2 students are one grade level below in Reading. Math assessments reveal 71% are 2 or more grade levels below and 29% are one grade level below. My Project

Bulldog Stretch Phase II

Students will use Chrome books to access Reading, Math, and Science software.

The use of this technology will help students take ownership of their learning. Students will do writing assignments on the chrome books. During bulldog time, which is one hour each morning designated for tutoring, students will do XtraMath, research on the devices. Assignments will include both written material and chrome book software. Student will also access Google Classroom with this technology. The instructional plan consist of instruction in the general classroom with an Inclusion Teacher.
