Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our low socioeconomic school environment lends itself to a family like atmosphere for children 8 hours a day building hope and success in future relationships. These students are always engaged in other's conversations and the use of materials. Positive and negative manners genuinely are shown through positive assistance to those around them.

Many of these precious students are bounced between their parent's and grandparent's homes therefore providing a struggle with ownership, consistency, structure, security, and most importantly fun educational experiences .

With these materials, I can provide a learning environment where students can dream independently and engrossed in intellectual thought and mechanical thinking skills for their future educations and jobs.

My Project

My students will spend 45 minutes every morning reading these books, quietly starting their day off with adventures and fantasies. These books will take the worries of the day away and let them believe in themselves and create a world that makes them happy. They will learn that their futures are what they make of them. Donations will build my students' self-esteem.

They will encourage my students to believe in the unbelievable with their books buddies.

They will also encourage my artistic students to begin visualizing places that they can spend time drawing these adventures. Adventures that Chris Van Allsburg and Wilson Rawls share with animals in every book will help my student develop relationships with animals of their own. Lastly, they will help the classroom management to be more successful, so we can continue to grow as a team.
