Formed in the summer of 2017, our Pre-K serves 80 four and five-year-olds in the Saint Paul area. Our program was formed thanks to a generous grant from our governor. Our school strives to put students first. Students develop self confidence through their accomplishment and a sense of empowerment to pursue their dreams.
Our school succeeds in closing the achievement gap in the multicultural community through the delivery of rigorous curriculum and an individualized learning plan for each student.
My Project
Pre-K is an exciting time for students as they begin their educational career! It's my job as a Pre-K teacher to not only prepare students for the rigorous academics coming their way, but to also get them pumped about the learning process as they embark on their school journey!
These materials will bring fun and excitement to the math and science centers in our classroom!
I have chosen various materials that will engage the students in learning of key concepts in the early childhood setting, as well as more open ended materials so students can explore on their own. Many of the materials encourage problem solving and my favorite Pre-K word: INDEPENDENCE.
