This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom furniture is outdated and no longer promotes our goals of collaboration. A round desk will provide a space for students to work in small groups to help those that have been sick or absent to catch up. In addition, to help those that are struggling with a particular topic. The students can meet in small groups to build each other up.
Such collaboration helps to build students overall wellness and confidence while learning new things.
Having round desks gives students an opportunity to listen and discuss with their peers in a much more effective way. Students can help each other and provide peer support in a non threatening enviroment. The new set up will help students learn from each other and decrease the stress sharing their new ideaas. The desk will provide a save space to learn and create togther.
