This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are hardworking, curious, and resilient learners. Many of them are bilingual and take great pride in growing their skills in both English and Spanish. What I love most is their determination to succeed, even when language makes learning more challenging.

Having both bilingual and regular dictionaries will give my students the support they need to strengthen their vocabulary, improve reading comprehension, and feel more confident in their writing.

The bilingual dictionaries will help English learners bridge the gap when encountering new words, while the regular dictionaries will give all students an essential tool for independent learning. These resources will empower every student to take ownership of their learning and grow as readers and writers.
