My Project
In today’s fast-paced world, children often experience a wide range of emotions and may struggle to articulate or manage them effectively. The "A Little Spot of Emotions" series offers a valuable tool for helping young learners identify, understand, and express their feelings in a constructive manner.
By integrating "A Little Spot of Emotions" books and corresponding plushies into our calming corner, we aim to build a foundation of emotional awareness, empathy, and respect.
Each book focuses on a specific emotion or social skill, such as kindness, responsibility, patience, respect, honesty, organization, diversity, and safety, making it easier for students to relate to and practice these important concepts. The accompanying plushies provide a tactile, comforting way for students to engage with these emotions. By having these plushies in our Calming Corner, students will have a physical object to help them express and regulate their feelings, which can be particularly beneficial during moments of distress or confusion.
