This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The education world seems like it is always changing as with everything when new data and research comes out.

Even though it is my 5th year of teaching, I am always trying to learn more and help teach kids the best way possible.

Building Thinking Classrooms is a special approach to teaching that helps students to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills especially in the area of mathematics. Students approach problems in groups on large whiteboards and aim to be standing rather than sitting.

There is a book all about this new approach that is in my cart along with the materials that I would need to implement it such as standing whiteboards, white board markers, and more. I am so excited to continue my growth as an educator and I thank you for your help!
