My Project

Students don't want to just memorize arbitrary facts and regurgitate them onto a test. They want to think critically and problem solve!

I want to turn my classroom into a thinking classroom!

I want my students to discover how they think and learn so they may build problem-solving skills that transcend the classroom. I know that most students will never need to use the quadratic formula or the Pythagorean Theorem ever again. But they will need to be critical thinkers, able to work through problems and solve them with creative strategies and solutions.

I am employing Peter Liljedahl's Building Thinking Classrooms strategy in my class this year and need these whiteboards to help me do so.
