My Project
My students work in random groups of 3 students to implement the 14 Building Thinking Classroom practices. They also work in randomized groups to solve math problems. They are learning to use 21st century skills of communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills within the context of the math classroom. The level of critical thinking and communication allow the students to perform well on standardized tests. Overall, the level of thinking is increased as a result of the BTC practices.
My students will use these mobile white boards and markers to check each other's work, as well as share their thinking about how to solve problems.
