Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These math manipulative and markers will allow my students to build their own knowledge through hands on learning and exploration. When students are allowed to get out of their seats and have classroom discussions, it allows them to discover their own understanding of math. This will be used with classroom whiteboards that we have recently had installed. We also have the colored marker to use to help students retain their knowledge. I teach students of all ages and no 2 learners learn the same way. These supplies will allow the students to learn to their abilities and grow more than if they were in the typical classroom setting.
