My Project
My students have a nice spacious area to use as our building center. We are asking for lots of STEM materials to help us fill up this play space for the next school year. These toys will be used during the class free play time every afternoon once they have finished all their work. My students also enjoy making things with their hands during free play so I have included some shrinky dink kits with colored pens for them to use to color them. They enjoy seeing their little creations come to life.
A very important part of Kindergarten is "play based learning".
We will be planting seeds in the little patio beside out playground & the students will take turns tending to the plants as they grow, so I have included a gardening kit as well! Early childhood education is built during these social interactions with peers. These STEM toys will play a vital role in getting the students to work together. Please help by contributing to our brand new play space!
