My Students

Working at a charter school has many advantages, one being the cultural diversity that my school attracts, and my classroom is no exception to this. Trying to explain the background or neighborhood of each of my students is nearly impossible. Each of my students is their own unique being; they each have their own story and are raised in a variety of households and cultures. And while many teachers may get to enjoy a wonderfully diverse classroom, I believe that what makes mine special is the way they are able to share their cultures and come together.

My classroom is filled with helpers, risk takers, team players, those who take on challenges, cheerleaders, and deep thinkers.

While they may come from a variety of neighborhoods, households, and cultures, my students are able to both forego their differences and come together and share their cultures in a safe and enriching environment. Being a STEAM based school, they get excited to work together to push their brains further and get hands on with science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. They are the epitome of a team - they know that success happens when they are able to solve problems together.

My Project

My kid deserve the best technology so they can continue to build their coding, typing, and research skills. By front more competed in my classroom, I am giving more students time to build these important skills.

Not only are computer skills now a necessity for success in any role, but they bring learning to life.

Each time a student gets on a computer, it captures their attention and emboldens them to try new things. The more I offer my students this excitement, the more I can use this excitement to push them further in their learning.

These computers will give me more outlets to help my students succeed!
